We have decided to get help with training our horses and to get riding lessons for Meagan. We are novices and have not been able to train them or gain their respect and as a result we have been able to do less and less with them every day. They know they have the upper hand, especially Terra. I have been visiting trainers and boarders over the last week and price ranges for training is between $25.00/hr and $60.00/hr. This includes working with Meagan and her horse (Terra). We have to decide if we can get Terra manageable as she is very high spirited and doesn't listen to us. If we can't then we need to trade her in for another horse, maybe a younger gilding, that Meagan is able to ride. I love Terra but if we can't manage her than we can't ride her. I thing she'd make a great horse for someone who knows how to handle her but we just don't have the experience. Will decide soon who to use.
